Kun FayaKun

All the words in the Holy Qur’an are powerful and sacred. None more so that “Kun FayaKun”. Such a small phrase but it encapsulates and illustrates Allah (SWT) mercy, power and grace. Simply translated it means “Be and it is”.

The verse is found in Surah Ya-Sin. The context in which the words "Kun FayaKūn" appear in the 36th Chapter, verse number 77–83.

These powerful words can also be found in Suarah Baqarah verse 117.

(Allah,) The Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.

There are a further 8 more references in the Holy Qur’an of these amazing words and the world over they have had an amazing and enlightening impact on many individuals. The power of these words inspired me to create something that will inspire you and at the same time give you a sense of comfort and peace knowing that nothing can happen with Allah (SWT) having decreed it.
