Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal-Wakil which means 'Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs”. This is one of the most powerful duas, Allah is indeed the best disposer of our affairs. Sometimes when we think something is bad for us, it is in fact good, but we cannot see the wisdom behind the trial at the time.

At some points in lives, we will feel completely helpless, be this an earthquake that has ripped your lives apart, death of a loved one, diagnosis of a terminal illness, a loss of child, a mental health illness or you’re just having a bad day.  This beautiful dua serves as reminder that we are indeed in the best of hands… our lord… our Creator.

This artwork has various shades of blue depicting the sky in an abstract form. The liquid gold paint that has been used to represent the Japanese concept of Kintsugi, this teaches us that our broken pieces can be put back together to make us stronger and even more beautiful than before. This fully encompasses the meaning of having faith and complete reliance on Allah.
